Teen Volunteer Group

 

What is this group?

 

This is the New 2015 United Way Teen Volunteer group of Berwick, Pa. This group will participate in all of the United Way’s Volunteer Service Projects.

 

Some events we help with :

  • Walk for Warmth

  • Celebrate Berwick

  • Week of Caring

  • Stamp out Hunger

  • Relay for Life

  • Stuff the Bus

  • Zombie Run

  • Bloomsburg Fair Mascot “Farmer Bloom”

  • Salvation Army Soup Kitchens

  • Christmas Boulevard

  • Victorian Nights

  • Salvation Army Christmas Eve Lunch Party

This is a group of 9-17 year olds who serve the Berwick Area community at large through acts and hearts of service. This program has four goals: Leadership training, personal growth, service to others and social development. Through this program teens volunteer for United Way programs, plan their own events and social activities and develop leadership and responsibility in ways that are fun, positive and constructive.

Monthly Meetings:

 

1st Monday of every month 4:30-5 at the Berwick United Way building on 2nd street. Please share this info with any teens that wish to volunteer their time with the Berwick United Way.
